Whether you and your sweetheart are together or separated by thousands of miles, a box of chocolates is always a welcome surprise. Here are a few suggestions to help you get these sweet treats to your sweetheart.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Belgian Chocolates
  • Boxes Of Chocolates
  • chocolate truffles
  1. Step 1

Hand-deliver the chocolates yourself. The best thing about this method is that you may be allowed to share them!

  2. Step 2

Have someone hand-deliver them for you. This could be a willing friend or relative, or someone you pay - a singing telegram service, perhaps?

  3. Step 3

Hire a gift basket service, which usually includes other goodies with the chocolates, such as some gourmet coffee, a beautiful pair of champagne glasses, or some other special treat.

  4. Step 4

Use a courier. If you are busy and short of time, this is usually a speedy and reliable way to get a box of chocolates to its destination on time.

  5. Step 5

Order online. A quick search using your favorite search engine should help you find something special, and many online businesses offer overnight delivery service for a price.

  6. Step 6

Send a gift certificate. Many companies offer gift certificates, and this is a good option if you're not entirely sure of the intended recipient's tastes or food tolerances.

Tips & Warnings
  • If your sweetheart lives in a very warm climate, or may not be home to receive a package, consider sending a gift certificate. After all, you don't want your gift to melt in transit!
  • Remember that some filled chocolates and truffles have a limited shelf life; take this into account when buying or sending them as a gift.
