Engage in chicken fights in the shallow end of the pool.
Step2
Submerge yourself underwater if you're the larger player, so your smaller partner can easily mount on your shoulders. Your opponents will do the same.
Step3
Grab the legs of your rider with your arms to hold him or her on your shoulders if you're the carrier.
Step4
Stay shoulder-deep in the water, away from sharp edges of the pool if you are the carrier. You are not allowed to contact your opponents.
Step5
Face off against the other mounted pair, and have your partner try to knock off the other mounted partner into the water.
Step6
Win by knocking the opponent off his or her mount. The winner is then challenged by a new pair, or rechallenged by the same pair.
Tips & Warnings
Be very careful of the sides of the pool while playing chicken.
Playing in a pool is inherently a dangerous activity. Never swim alone or unsupervised, watch out for younger and weaker swimmers, never dive into the shallow end of the pool and beware of others when jumping into the pool.

1) If the pool is big, walk around the opponent a safe distance away. 2) When opponent least expects it, move in and attack. 3) If timed properly, it should work. 4) Remember not to get too close to the edge of the pool!
