Things You'll Need:
- Round Sunglasses
- CD Players
- Beatles CDs
- Beatles Memorabilia
- Airline Tickets
- Backbeat Videos
-
Step 1
Visit your local library and check out a book about Liverpool, England. This was John's birthplace and the hatching grounds of a musical legend.
-
Step 2
Take a political stand, if only for the day. Not only was Lennon known for the musical history that he helped to create, but for his anti-war, pro-peace political ideologies.
-
Step 3
Treat yourself to Lennon's last musical enterprise, the "Double Fantasy" album, which was released in November, 1980.
-
Step 4
Put on a pair of small, round spectacles in pure Lennon fashion style.
-
Step 5
Book a trip to New York City and visit the Dakota, where Lennon was living at the time he was shot and killed.
-
Step 6
Hunt down a copy of the January, 1981, issue of "Playboy" magazine. This issue features the last published photos of John Lennon and was released after his death in December, 1980.

on 11/22/2005 John Lennon is an absolute legend and should be celebrated, no matter what! If you can't afford to fly overseas to celebrate, then turn on some Beatles music. Pump it up really loudly and enjoy!

on 11/22/2005 Take a trip to New York's Central Park and pay a visit to Strawberry Fields, a Lennon memorial that was John and Yoko's favorite oasis in the park. A mosaic with the single word "IMAGINE" marks the west entrance to the park and is perhaps the most popular place for fans to remember John and pay their respects.
