Instructions

    • 1

Wash crystal by hand, not in the dishwasher. The high temperature of a dishwasher can cause the crystal to crack and detergent will abrade the glass surface. This will cause your glassware to have a permanent cloudy appearance.

    • 2

Wash crystal in warm, sudsy water, not hot. Add white vinegar to your wash and rinse water to prevent spotting or fogging.

    • 3

Remove the cloudy film caused by hard water. Soak the glassware in warm, undiluted white vinegar for 1 hour, then hand wash as usual.

    • 4

Fill foggy drinking glasses and vases with 1 or 2 tablespoons of lemon juice and rub the glass exterior with half a lemon. Fill with warm water and allow to stand for a few hours. Hand wash glasses as usual.

    • 5

Clean crystal vases and decanters with white vinegar and uncooked rice. Fill halfway with the mixture and shake gently to clean the interior.

    • 6

Use lint-free dishcloths to dry your crystal.

Just apply a small puddle of pure distilled alcohol and let it rest for about 30 min - 1 hour. This should get rid of the foggy cloud for a few months.
