Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Determine what time it is in Singapore before you call. It will be 13 hours ahead of Eastern Standard Time in the United States; eight hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time.

  2. Step 2

Dial the international access code, 011.

  3. Step 3

Dial 65, the country code for Singapore.

  4. Step 4

Keep in mind that calling Singapore does not require dialing a city code.

  5. Step 5

Dial the remaining digits of the phone number.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you follow these steps but still can't connect, dial 00 and ask the international operator to help you place the call.
  • It can be very expensive to call long-distance during business hours, so try to make your phone calls in the evenings and on weekends.

on 8/8/2006 If you have an International Black Berry, use the "+" sign instead of dialing 011 + number while in Singapore. Example: +65 XXXX XXXX
