Step 1
On your Windows computer, open the Start menu, click Settings and then click Control Panel.

Double-click on the Internet Options icon.

Select the Connections tab.

Click the Settings button next to the Dial-up menu.

Click the Properties button in the new Settings window.

Select the Server Types tab.

Click the TCP/IP Settings button toward the bottom of the Server Types pane.

Write down the IP address and any server addresses that appear in the TCP/IP settings window. (Note that many ISPs use server-assigned IP and server addresses. In this case, you will just write down that these are server-assigned.)

Click OK in each window to close them.

In the Macintosh computer, open the Apple menu, select Control Panels, and then select TCP/IP.

Input the IP and server addresses you copied from the Windows computer into the appropriate fields of the TCP/IP control panel. Click Make Active.

Open the PPP control panel.

Step 13
Input your login name, password and the number of your dial-up connection. This information is provided by your ISP.

Close the PPP control panel.
