Understand that lupus must be "managed" as well as treated. Part of that management includes avoiding overexposure to sunlight and extreme stress.

Hair dyes have not conclusively proven to be detrimental to lupus patients. However, consult your lupus doctor before dying your hair if you are newly diagnosed with lupus.
