Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
Step1
Check the weather forecast for your intended dates of travel. Toronto winters are fierce and frigid. The summers are hot and humid.
Step2
Pack business attire appropriate to your line of work. Suits are a staple for most men and women. Women wear hose in the summer, despite the heat, and tights in the winter for warmth.
Step3
Think comfortable and casual for taking in the sights and sounds of the city. Jeans and khakis are appropriate for winter; long shorts, tees, short-sleeved shirts, sundresses and skirts are great for summer.
Step4
Bring a very heavy winter coat, long underwear, sweaters, boots, socks, gloves, a scarf and a hat if you plan to be there between December and March. Wear rubber-soled shoes to avoid slipping on ice and snow.
Step5
Choose lightweight fabrics such as cotton and linen for summer visits, as these natural fibers will breathe in the heat. Pair summer attire with comfortable walking shoes or sandals. Sunglasses will complete your outfit.
Step6
Remember black will hide dirt and absorb heat; white and ivory will betray dirt but keep you cool.

on 11/22/2005 hello! I live in the GTA. Some interesting places to visit while in TO are: CN Tower, the ROM (Royal Ontario Museum), the AGO (Art Gallery of Ontario), as well as several well-produced plays and musicals, such as the Lion King.

on 11/22/2005 I live in Toronto, well, the Greater Toronto Area anyway. You'll want a camera with lots of film and batteries. These things ARE available domestically, but be sure you have them anyway. There are lots of photo-op monuments and such. ... Have fun!
