How to Customize the America Online Toolbar

Customize your AOL toolbar with sites you use regularly. Just one click and you're where you want to be.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

Step1
Sign on to AOL.
Step2
Right-click an icon you don't need in the toolbar and choose "Remove from toolbar" to make room for a new one.
Step3
Go to a Web page you want to add to the toolbar.
Step4
Drag the heart in the right-hand corner to the toolbar.
Step5
Choose an icon you want to use and type in a name for it using eight or fewer characters.
Step6
Click OK.

Tips & Warnings

  • You have to remove an icon before you can add one, so make sure you remove one you don't need.

on 11/22/2005 You can only remove three icons and add three. The ones that you can remove are Quotes, Perks, and Calendar.
