How to Customize the America Online Toolbar

Customize your AOL toolbar with sites you use regularly. Just one click and you're where you want to be.

Things You'll Need

• Internet Access
• Computers
• America Online

Instructions

1. Sign on to AOL.

2. Right-click an icon you don't need in the toolbar and choose "Remove from toolbar" to make room for a new one.

3. Go to a Web page you want to add to the toolbar.

4. Drag the heart in the right-hand corner to the toolbar.

5. Choose an icon you want to use and type in a name for it using eight or fewer characters.

6. Click OK.

Tips & Warnings

• You have to remove an icon before you can add one, so make sure you remove one you don't need.
