How to Check Your America Online E-mail Away from Home

As long as you have access to the Internet, you can check your America Online e-mail wherever you are.

Things You'll Need

• Internet Access
• America Online
• Internet Explorer
• Netscape Navigator

Instructions

1. Connect to the Internet and open up a Web browser, such as Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator.

2. Type the following URL in the address bar: "www.aol.com."

3. Type your screen name in the appropriate box (at the upper left corner of the Web page).

4. Type your password in the next box.

5. Click Sign In.

6. Click "Please click here to complete the sign-in process."

7. Click Yes in the box that asks if you want to continue.

8. Click on the e-mail messages to read them.

Tips & Warnings

• You can check your old mail and the messages you've sent from AOL too.

• You can also download files you receive in your e-mail, write a new message or reply to an e-mail.
