Step1
Investigate the materialistic desires of those around you. Taureans tend to revel in the acquisition of luxurious goods, including silks and other decadent treasures.
Step2
Notice those who frequent fine dining establishments, museums or wineries. Those born under the sign of Taurus enjoy good food, fine culture and pampering.
Step3
Watch for the key trait of stubbornness. A Taurus friend is a good one to have when he or she is arguing in your defense. Delve into a disagreement against this steadfast foe, and you'd best be prepared for the long haul!
Step4
Look for a solid, tranquil and stoic personality. While Taureans are known for their stubbornness, they rarely contain the volatility associated with many other signs of the zodiac. The Taurus in your life will take many an insult before he or she explodes.
Step5
Ask those around you to consider a new viewpoint regarding a weighty political or social issue. Those who vehemently refuse to even consider an opinion different from their own are most certainly Taureans!
Step6
Focus on loyal companions, as opposed to fair-weather friends. A Taurus will stick by you in good times and in bad.

on 6/10/2008 Taureans are one of the beings in this planet that posess the abilty to bring out quality in what ever we do in the arts. Dont be affraid of us if we are resourceful and suggestive. We are earth signs. Therefore have all the other elements in us.

on 5/2/2007 I am not a Taurus but my moon sign is so I think that means that I have the negative aspects of the Taurus' hard-headedness and the materialistic attitude mixed in with the shrewd, gloomy, money horder side of my sun sign. (I'm a Capricorn). I know I have struggled with both my shopping spree side (Taurus) and my penny-pinching side (Capricorn) all the time. But eventually the girlie girl in me convinces both sides that those cute flats from Nine West (Taurus again) with the skull and cross bones (Capricorn doom and gloom))would look great with my new jeans(Girlie girl)And we live happily ever after....till the next shopping spree.

on 2/26/2007 Although I share the opinion that Taurus is materialistic, I also think there is a failure to acknowledge the reason that it is so. I am a Taurus woman and although I like to gather beautiful things around myself, my partner and my home it is because I feel a sense of security with "things" surrounding me, it is perhaps because it is a reminder of success (as taurus can sometimes feel a little dispondant, the fear of change or ruining what isn't broken can be frightening if a bad decision is made). But also it is comfortable to know that you have that self reliance. Also the mention of stubborness I agree with that unfortunately, but to look at that in a more positive light I would suggest the acknowledgement of enduring patience as a strong trait, as well as respect for tradition.
