Things You'll Need:
-
Step 1
Start the FrontPage program and open an existing web. (See "How to Begin a Web Site in FrontPage" if you don't know how.)
-
Step 2
Choose Show FrontPage Editor from the Tools menu, or click on the FrontPage Editor icon on the toolbar.
-
Step 3
Open the page you want and place the cursor right before the text or graphic you want to use as a bookmark (the place where the link will take the viewer).
-
Step 4
Choose Bookmark from the Edit menu.
-
Step 5
Type the name of the bookmark in the dialog box and choose OK. A box with a small flag inside it will appear; this will not be visible to the Web page viewer.
-
Step 6
To link to the bookmark, place the cursor right before the text or graphic you want to be the link (what the user will click to go to the bookmark).

-
Step 8
Save the page when finished.
-
Step 9
Preview the page in a Web browser by choosing Preview in Browser from the File menu. From the dialog box, choose a browser and settings to use.
-
Step 10
