Things You'll Need:

Step 1
Start the FrontPage program and open an existing web. (See "How to Begin a Web Site in FrontPage.")

Open the page and select the text or graphic you want to use for the link.

Choose Hyperlink from the Insert menu or click on the Hyperlink button on the toolbar.

To link to a bookmark on the current page, choose the bookmark name from the drop-down list below the URL box. (See "How to Create a Target Link in FrontPage," under Related eHows, for instructions on creating inter-page bookmarks.)

To link to a page in the current web (the site), choose the page from the list above the URL box. Select a target frame, if applicable, and click OK.

To link to an Internet Web page, click on the World Wide Web button (resembles a globe with a magnifying glass) to locate the page on the Web. Or type the URL (Web address) in the URL box.

To link to a file on your hard disk, click on the File button (resembles a file folder with a magnifying glass). Choose the file and click OK.

To create a new page to link to, click the New Page tab. Enter the title, page URL and target frame, if any, and click OK.

Save the page when finished.

Preview the page by choosing Preview in Browser from the File menu. From the dialog box, choose the browser and settings to use.

Check your links before and after you upload the page to the Internet.
