How to Create a Web Page With FrontPage

Before you can create Web pages in Microsoft FrontPage, you need to create the site that will hold the pages. (See "How to Begin a Web Site With FrontPage," under Related eHows.) Then you can get going adding pages and filling them with your content.

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

    Start the FrontPage program. From the File menu, choose Open and open a web (a site).

  2. Step 2

    Click New from the File menu and choose Page. A dialog box will appear.

  3. Step 3

    Choose the first tab (General) to select a regular page. Click once on each page to see a brief preview and description.

  4. Step 4

    Select the second tab (Frames) to create a frames-based page. See "How to Create a Frames-Based Web Page With FrontPage," under Related eHows, for more information on this feature.

  5. Step 5

    Use the third tab (Style Sheets) to create a new style sheet. See "How to Create a Style Sheet for a Web Page With FrontPage" for more information.

  6. Step 6

    Add text to your new page just by typing.

  7. Step 7

    Read the Related eHows to learn how to add images, links and other features to the page, or search eHow for "FrontPage."
