    • 5-6 tbsp. milk (divided)
    • 1/2 c. (1 stick) softened butter
    • 3 c. sifted powdered sugar (divided)
    • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
    • 2/3 c. baking cocoa
    • Groceries
    • Electric Mixer
    • Rubber Spatula
    • Small Mixing Bowls
      • 1

        Beat 1 cup of the powdered sugar, 2 tbsp. of the milk and the cocoa, butter and vanilla extract in small mixer bowl until creamy. Start mixing on low speed so you don't create a huge gust of sugar and cocoa powder.

        Gradually beat in remaining sugar and milk until smooth.

      add a little bit of almond extract. It is still the best chocolate frosting, with or without the almond extract.
