    • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    • 1 egg
    • 1/2 c. (1 stick) softened butter
    • 3/4 c. packed brown sugar
    • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
    • 2 c. semisweet chocolate chips (divided)
    • 9-inch-square baking pan
    • 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
    • 1 c. plus 2 tbsp. all-purpose flour

        Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl.

        Beat sugar, butter and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy.

        Beat in egg; gradually beat in flour mixture.

        Stir in 1 1/4 cups chocolate chips and nuts.

        Spread into greased 9-inch-square baking pan.

        Bake in preheated 375° F. oven for 20 to 23 minutes.

        Remove pan to wire rack.

        Sprinkle with remaining chips.

        Let stand for 5 minutes or until morsels are shiny; spread evenly.

        Cool in pan on wire rack; chill for 5 to 10 minutes or until chocolate is set.
