From Quick Guide: Learn Judo
Difficulty: Moderately challenging
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Grab the attacker's wrists or sleeves as you face the attacker.

  2. Step 2

Step back with the right foot and pull the attacker forward with your whole body. The attacker will be forced to step forward with the left foot.

  3. Step 3

Loosen your right-hand grip, but don't let go. Pull the attacker toward you and up with the left hand, forcing the attacker's right foot close to the left.

  4. Step 4

Sweep the attacker's legs with your left foot in the direction where the attacker is placing the right foot down. As you sweep, pull down hard with your left hand.
