on 4/25/2009 I disagree with the "fruit in a can" idea. There are no nutrients in canned fruit. Take a look for yourself.

on 12/16/2005 Add fruit to your diet by stocking up on a variety of fruits and buying a smoothie maker, use a banana to thicken the smoothie up.
Also buy pomegranates, although they are fiddly to eat, they are a super fruit.

on 11/22/2005 If you feel that you will waste fruit that you buy, then buy fruit cocktail, applesauce, mandarin oranges in a can, or pineapple in a can. Also, apples, oranges, or grapefruit last a longer time in the refrigerator than other fruits. To push yourself to eat more fruit, try eating an apple, strawberries, or other berries as a dessert; watermelon or cooked apples with cinnamon during the meal; or freezing pineapple or bananas and eating homemade fruit Popsicles.

on 11/22/2005 Blueberries are probably the healthiest fruit available, and they taste great, too. Whenever I buy a carton, I can't help myself -- I eat them all in one sitting!
