3. Look for sites that allow you to upload your own graphics to make the card more personalized: Send a photo of the kids to Grandma and Grandpa for an extra-thoughtful Christmas treat.

4. Follow the directions on the Web site you choose to create and send your card.

5. Be sure to preview the card and make sure it's just right before sending it.
