Adobe PageMaker 6.0 and 6.5 for Windows and Macintosh allow you to enter text in PageMaker documents. Text entry is not as easy as it is in various word processing applications, but it's not very difficult either. You just need to remember to use the Text tool.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • PageMaker 6.5 (Mac OS)
  • PageMaker 6.5 (Windows)

Step1
Select the Text tool in the toolbar; it's the tool with the letter "T."
Step2
Click (left-click in Windows) to position the cursor on the page where you want to enter the new text.
Step3
Enter the new text.
Step4
Create a new text box by placing the cursor anywhere on the pasteboard, or on the page outside of the current text box, then begin typing.
