How to Display or Hide Master Items in PageMaker

Master Items are items that appear on every page of a document, such as headers and footers or specific graphics such as logos. To include Master Items, you must create them on the master pages of the document.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • PageMaker 6.5 (Mac OS)
  • PageMaker 6.5 (Windows)
  1. Step 1

    Go to the Layout menu (Windows) or the View menu (Mac OS) and select Display Master Items to view these items.

  2. Step 2

    Display Master Items on every page in the document by going to each page (or each two-page spread) and selecting Display Master Items in the Layout or View menu.

  3. Step 3

    Hide Master Items by going to the Layout or View menu and deselecting Display Master Items (an item is selected when a check mark is beside it; click the item to deselect it).
