Make your Adobe PageMaker 6.0 and 6.5 documents for Windows and Macintosh look slick and professional by flowing text around your graphics. The PageMaker Text Wrap feature helps you wrap text around graphics objects on the page.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately challenging

Things You’ll Need:

  • PageMaker 6.5 (Mac OS)
  • PageMaker 6.5 (Windows)

Step1
Place an object (graphic or polygon) on the page either before or after you enter the text.
Step2
Select the object.
Step3
Go to the Element menu and select Text Wrap.
Step4
Select the wrap option or text flow option you want to use. These are depicted as icons that mean: wrap text through the graphic, wrap text around, flow text above, flow text above and below, and flow text around.
Step5
Choose the text flow.
Step6
Enter the Standoff amount in inches to create a space between the text and graphic.
Step7
Select Wrap Text on Same Layer Only to make text on other layers ignore the text wrap selections. If you don't have other layers or if you want all layers to recognize the text wrap, ignore this step.
Step8
Click OK.

Tips & Warnings
