PageMaker 6.0 and 6.5 provide several palettes to customize and format your documents. If they clutter the screen too much, you can close them and open them at will.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • PageMaker 6.5 (Mac OS)
  • PageMaker 6.5 (Windows)

Step1
Go to the Windows menu.
Step2
To show or hide a palette, select one: Show Colors, Show Styles, Show Layers, Show Master Pages, Show Hyperlinks.

Tips & Warnings

  • To show the standard PageMaker toolbar (not to be confused with the palettes), go to the Windows menu and select Show Tools.
  • To use the palettes, either single-click or double-click items in the palettes or use the right-pointing black arrows, which indicate a pop-out menu, to access palette features.
  • Check PageMaker's Help menu for more information about using the palettes.
