Before you delete a page in PageMaker 6.0 and 6.5, make sure you really don't want it anymore.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • PageMaker 6.5 (Mac OS)
  • PageMaker 6.5 (Windows)
  1. Step 1

Open the PageMaker document and note the numbers of the page or pages you want to delete.

  2. Step 2

Go to the Layout menu and select Remove Pages.

  3. Step 3

Enter the page numbers for sequential pages in the "Remove page(s)" and Through boxes. For example: Remove page(s) "3" Through "5" to remove pages 3, 4 and 5.

  4. Step 4

Enter the same page number in both the "Remove page(s)" and Through boxes to remove a single page. For example: Remove page(s) "2" Through "2" to remove page 2.

  5. Step 5

    Click OK.

  6. Step 6

Click OK again to really delete the pages; click Cancel to stop this process.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can't undo page deletions. If you discover that you made a mistake, use the Revert command to go back to your most recently saved version of the document (see "How to Use the Revert Command in PageMaker").
