"We need to get the decision-making bodies out of it," says Nevada state judge and pro-boxing referee Judge Mills Lane. "Let's call it like it is. Let's get it on!'

Difficulty: Challenging
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Unite the championship belts by implementing a less-subjective ranking system.

  2. Step 2

Require the belt holder to fight the number one contender, and require the belt holders to fight each other.

  3. Step 3

Avoid the silent agenda crap. Subjectivity must become objectivity.

  4. Step 4

Let the local commission regulate and control the discipline (i.e. decide when the fighters must make weight).

  5. Step 5

Remove the influence of outside forces, such as promoters and sanctioning bodies.

Tips & Warnings
  • "The WBC won't rank the WBA Champ. Now that's a bunch of horse****," says Lane. "Until the sanctioning bodies stop manipulating the rankings, the sport of boxing will decline in the public's eye.'

on 11/22/2005 Drop all mention of any governing body. Allow USA Today rankings to become the official rankings. Ignore all others. No press, they will go away.

on 11/22/2005 Here is a man that deserves a title shot without question. If you want to improve pro boxing, then give the best boxers in each division a chance. I will not buy programming or go to fights if this keeps up.
