How to Make Chipotle Cream Sauce

Serve over pork chops breaded and baked with pumpkin seeds (see related eHow) or use over other meats.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Measuring Cups
  • Saucepans
  • Wooden Spoons
  • 1 can chipotle chiles in adobo sauce
  • 1 c chicken stocks
  • 1 c heavy creams
Step1
Place chicken stock and one whole chipotle in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Let steep for 40 minutes.
Step2
Add the cream to thicken and bring to a boil for 1 second only.
Step3
Take off the heat, remove the chipotle and pour over pork chops or other meat.

Tips & Warnings

  • Buy good-quality stock for the best flavor - use the low-sodium variety.
  • Chipotles in adobo sauce are available in the Mexican foods section of most supermarkets.

on 1/23/2008 If you like a little more heat, just chop the chipolte and leave it in the sauce.
