The caller ID feature on the iPhone gives you control over whether or not the people you call see your phone number. If you set up Caller ID so that people can't see your phone number, they'll see "Unknown" instead when you call. Caller ID is enabled by default, but you can quickly enable and disable the feature using a toggle that appears in the iPhone's Settings app.
Tap "Settings" on the iPhone home screen.
Tap "Show My Caller ID."
Tap the "On/Off" toggle to the right of "Show My Caller ID" until it displays "On" if you want other people to see your phone number when you call them. Set the toggle to "Off" if you don't want people to see your phone number when you call them.
Press the "Home" button to save your changes and return to the iPhone's home screen.
