When working with word processing software such as Apple's iWork Pages, you may need to adjust the page margins to meet the requirements of a project. Pages, which is available on Apple OS X computers and iOS mobile devices, has a list of page setup options to customize the look of a page. Although the OS X and iOS versions of Pages include page margin adjustments, each version has a different method for implementing the adjustments.
Open your document in Pages and click "Inspector" in the toolbar.
Click the "Document Inspector" tab. From this tab, you can adjust the page setup settings. The margin controls are listed in the Document Margins section.
Type the new value for the left margin in the "Left" text box or click the up or down arrows next to the box to adjust the margin. Repeat the process for the "Right," "Top" and "Bottom" margins, as needed. Your changes are automatically applied as you enter them.
Open the document in the Pages app that you want to adjust; tap the wrench icon and then "Document Setup." The Document Setup screen appears with a smaller version of a page on it. Note the arrows on page; they represent the current margins.
Place your finger on any of the arrows and then drag the margin to a new location. Repeat the process with the remaining arrows to adjust the remaining margins.
Tap the "Done" button when finished to apply the changes.
