How to Make a Potion to Become a Werewolf in "The Elder Scrolls III: Game of the Year"

“The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind - Game of the Year Edition” includes the original content released with “The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind” in addition to all of the content added with the game’s two expansions, “Tribunal” and “Bloodmoon.” There is no potion in “Morrowind” that can turn you into a werewolf, but it is possible to learn the ability by completing a quest introduced with “Bloodmoon.”

  • Travel to the Village of Khuul on the island of Vvardenfell. You will need both “Tribunal” and “Bloodmoon” installed to access this area of the game.

  • Talk to any of the non-playable characters in town and ask them about “latest rumors.” Eventually you will learn of some troublesome reports from Fort Frostmoth on the isle of Solstheim.

  • Travel to the island via boat from Kuul or swim across the sea.

  • Talk to Basks-in-the-Sun on the Solstheim docks and he will send you to Captain Falx Carius.

  • Continue down the main quest chain until you reach the Siege of Skaal Village event. You will be infected with Sanies Lupinus during the fight.

  • Find a safe place to hide for the next three days. Rest where you will not be seen, as Morrowind residents will label you a murderer if they see you transform.

  • Complete the first transformation into your werewolf form.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can also get infected with Sanies Lupinus by fighting a werewolf. These rare spawns appear periodically throughout the world and during the day have names like Confused Lunatic, Insane Wanderer, Gibbering Lunatic and Wandering Idiot.
