Unlike smartphones running the Android operating system, the iPhone doesn't allow you to browse your data from within a file manager like Windows Explorer. You can, however, use iTunes to view the files stored on your iPhone; the software enables you to see files linked to specific apps on the device, as well as download the data to your computer.
Things You'll Need
- USB data cable
Download and install the latest version of iTunes (link in the Resources). Connect the data cable to the iPhone and to a USB port on the computer.
Select your iPhone from under the "Devices" heading, and then click the "Apps" button on the submenu in the right pane.
Scroll to "File Sharing" and select an app to browse the files associated with that program.
