If you're partway through a paper-free magazine subscription on your Amazon Kindle and decide to cancel it, Amazon's website includes a section for managing your subscriptions. You'll stop receiving new issues as soon as you unsubscribe from the magazine. Amazon assures that when you cancel a subscription, "a prorated refund for the remaining balance of your subscription will be issued."
Visit the Amazon website and log in using the account connected to your Kindle. Hover your cursor over the "Your Account" drop-down menu and select the "Manage Your Kindle" option.
Select the "Subscription Settings" option from the navigation panel's Your Kindle Account section. Click the "Actions" drop-down menu beside the content you want to unsubscribe from. Select the "Cancel Subscription" option.
Confirm the cancellation by selecting "Cancel Subscription" again in the popup window.
