If you have obtained your e-books from a variety of online sources, they may have formatting inconsistencies. Some of your e-books may have poor-quality cover images or may lack them entirely. You can use any cover image that you find online for your Kindle e-books. The Calibre e-book management program is the only program that allows for streamlined updating and syncing of your e-book covers.

Downloading the Cover

  • Navigate to Google.com and search for the title of your book.

  • Select "Images" at the top of the search results page.

  • Select an image for your book cover.

  • Click "View original image."

  • Right click on the image, select "Save Image as..." and save it to a location on your computer.

Changing the Cover

  • Right click on the e-book, select "Edit metadata" and then "Edit metadata individually."

  • Click "Browse" in the "Change cover" section of the Edit Metadata menu.
