How to Remove the Apple Dock Reflection
The default appearance for the application dock in Mac OS-X includes a reflective 3D effect, which is one of the ways the Mac interface attempts to incorporate style. If you don't like the reflected appearance of the dock you can remove it, despite the fact that the Settings dialog box doesn't contain any options for doing so. Use a special Terminal command to remove dock reflection from your Mac OS-X computer.
