My Mouse Does Not Work Inside of Parallels
When running the Windows operating system on a Mac computer by using Parallels, a desktop virtualization application, you might sometimes be unable to use your mouse due to a driver issue. You can fix that issue by updating your mouse's drivers within Windows. You can do so by navigating through the operating system with your keyboard.

Launch Parallels Desktop and select "Windows" from the Virtual Machine pane to launch the operating system.

Press the "Tab" key on your keyboard until the Start button is highlighted and press "Enter" to open it.

Select "Control Panel" by using your keyboard's arrow keys and pressing the "Enter" key.

Press the "Tab" key until the "Hardware and Sound" link is highlighted and press "Enter" to open that link. Select "Mouse" by using the "Tab" and "Enter" keys again.

Open the "Mouse" tab by using your keyboard's arrow keys and select the "Properties" button by pressing the "Tab" and "Enter" keys.

Open the "Driver" tab and select the "Update driver" button.

Select "No, not this time" and highlight "Next" before pressing the "Enter" key. Select "Install automatically" and highlight "Next" before pressing "Enter" again. Wait until Windows finishes updating your mouse's drivers.

Open the "File" menu of your Parallels Desktop application with your mouse and click on "Reboot."
