How to Limit Pitch in 3D Matrix

3D Matrix provides you with a robust environment powerful toolbox for building 3D objects and exporting the models for use in your media or applications. The application's transformation tools enable you to manipulate your object's pitch, yaw and roll. Each of the tool's rotational increments are set at 45-degree radians by default, which can make for some drastic changes in orientation when you try to tweak your object's pitch. Lower 3D Matrix's degree settings and limit the pitch increments in your projects.

Instructions

    • 1

Launch 3D Matrix. Click on the program's "File" heading, and then select the "Open 3D Model" option from the context menu that appears beneath the heading. Import the model you wish to work with, using the file explorer window that appears.

Right-click on your object in any of the view windows, and then click on the "Select All" option from the context menu that pops up. Select the "Transformations" option from the program's "Tools" heading.

    • 3

Click inside of the Transformations window's "Degree" field. Type a lower value into the field to decrease 3D Matrix' rotational increments -- the field's default value is 45. Click on the "X" button beneath the "Degree" heading to adjust the pitch of your model.
