How to Run iTunes from Jolicloud

Jolicloud offers an operating system (OS) that turns any computer into a "new cloud device," according to the system's developers. The Joli OS can be used as a primary operating system or installed alongside Windows. The Joli desktop will consist of a series of icons for applications such as Facebook, Google Voice and Twitter. Each of these applications stores its information in the Jolicloud cloud. Any of the supported sites can be accessed from Jolicloud (thereby saving space on your computer.) Some applications, like iTunes, can be run from the Joli OS but will not operate in the cloud—they will still take up space on your computer's hard drive. To run iTunes from the Joli OS you will need iTunes installed on your computer, just as if you were running it from Windows.

Instructions

1. Power on your computer and select Joli as your OS if it is not already set as your primary OS.

2. Click the Jolicloud Start menu and choose Programs.

3. Highlight iTunes and double-click to launch the iTunes store. You will now be able to sign into your iTunes account, browse through and purchase music and apps and make changes to your account.
