How to: TI-30XS Multiview Calculator
The TI-30XS MultiView calculator is a scientific, solar-powered calculator that allows you to input and review multiple calculations. Three of the most fundamental and important operations on the TI-30XS MultiView are: answer toggle, which toggles between answer formats like decimal and fractional; the data editor, which allows you to enter lists of data, and calculating one- and two-variable statistical data like mean, mode, median, standard deviation and variance.

Answer Toggle

Type a sum or equation into the command line and then press the "Enter" key.

Press the dual arrow key -- located above the "Enter" key -- to toggle between fractional and decimal answers.

Continue pressing the dual arrow key to scroll through a series of more answer options, including exact square root and exact pi.
Data Editor

Press the "Data" key.

Type your data into the list and then press the "Enter" key. Separate each entry by pressing the "n/d" key. For example, to type the list 1,2,3,4, press "1," "n/d," "2," "n/d," "3," "n/d," "4," "n/d" and "Enter."

Press the "2nd" key and then press the up-arrow key to go to the top of the next list to continue entering a second set of data, if required.
Calculating One and Two Variable Statistical Data

Enter data into a list, following the procedure in Section 2.

Press the "2nd" key and then press the "Stat" key.

Select "1-Var" or "2-Var" using the arrow keys and then press the "Enter" key.
