Three of the most fundamental and important operations on the TI-30XS MultiView are: answer toggle, which toggles between answer formats like decimal and fractional; the data editor, which allows you to enter lists of data, and calculating one- and two-variable statistical data like mean, mode, median, standard deviation and variance.

Answer Toggle

  • Type a sum or equation into the command line and then press the "Enter" key.

  • Press the dual arrow key -- located above the "Enter" key -- to toggle between fractional and decimal answers.

  • Continue pressing the dual arrow key to scroll through a series of more answer options, including exact square root and exact pi.

Data Editor

  • Press the "Data" key.

  • Type your data into the list and then press the "Enter" key. Separate each entry by pressing the "n/d" key. For example, to type the list 1,2,3,4, press "1," "n/d," "2," "n/d," "3," "n/d," "4," "n/d" and "Enter."
