Beyond TV is software that is used to turn your PC into a digital video recoder. It uses Total Media Extreme by ArcSoft, which is a media hub program that combines a video player, a video recorder and editor in one program. To get the ArcSoft Codec – called the ArcSoft Video Decoder – to work with Beyond TV, you will need to set up the Total Media Extreme to accept the codec.
