How to Connect the Celestron C90 to the D80 Nikon
Record the night sky with your Nikon D80 digital camera by attaching a Celestron 90 telescope. Convert the Celestron 90 telescope to a telephoto lens with two accessories: the T-adapter and the T-ring for the Nikon F lens mount. According to the Celestron 90 specifications sheet, this lightweight Maksutov-Cassegrain optical system features a 1,000-mm lens with a f/11 focal ratio and a 90-mm aperture.

Tips & Warnings
The C90 lens contains a photo tripod adapter. Set the C90 lens and attached camera on a tripod to minimize camera shake during the exposure. Attach a cable release to activate the camera shutter.
Grip the lens and the camera body firmly to prevent them from slipping out of your hands as you connect the components. Do not force the connection.
