How to Export Texture From Anim8or to Pepakura
Anim8or is a free character animation and 3D modeling application. Although not as potent as 3DStudio Max, SketchUp or Lightwave, the software is powerful enough for the average user. The interesting Pepakura Designer software is a free, shareware tool which enables you to create paper craft models from 3D data. If you create a texture in Anim8or and want to create a paper craft model from it, you must export it to Pepakura.

Double-click on the "Anim8or.exe" file to start the software. Create a new project or open an existing one.

Go to the "Object" menu and select the "Export" option. Enter a name in the "File name" text box and select "Wavefront (*.obj)" in the "Save as type" drop-down box. Use the file browser to select a location to save the file to and click on the "Save" button to export the project as an OBJ file.

Double-click on the "Pepakura Designer" icon on your desktop or click once on the "Pepakura Designer" entry in the "Start" menu to start the software.

Go to the "File" menu and select the "Open" option. Select "Wavefront (*.obj)" in the "Files of type" drop-down box and use the built-in file browser to select the OBJ file you exported from Anim8or. Click on the "Open" button to open the Anim8or texture.
