How to Change the Frequency Table in WINKS
WINKS, a statistics analysis application, allows its users to perform various operations on numerical data, such as creating a frequency table. A frequency table lists the frequency distribution of all selected variables. You can create and modify a frequency table by, first, importing or entering data into the application and, then, using a specific procedure to generate the table.

Launch WINKS, and open an existing database or create a new one.

2
Type the values that you want to analyze in the spreadsheet. Alternatively, you can also import existing data by clicking on "File" and selecting "Import." Those values will be used to generate the frequency table.

Select the "Formats" column to open the Category Format dialog box. This dialog box contains two columns. The left one lists all the values entered in the spreadsheet, while the right-hand one contains the values that are to be used to generate the frequency table. Click on the arrow button to move the values you want to analyze from the left-hand column to the right-hand one.
