How to Convert WDB to XLS Files
Microsoft Works files use the WDB file format. You can convert these to the Microsoft Excel file format, or XLS, using the Works conversion tool included with the Works software, so there's no need to use an online converter or a third-party conversion program. After the conversion, anyone can read the file's information by using Microsoft Excel.

Right-click the WDB file you want to convert and select "Open With." Click "Microsoft Works" in the list of programs.

Click the "File" menu item and select "Save As" to open a configuration window with a list of file formats.

Click the "XLS" file format option in the File Type drop-down box. The file extension in the "File name" text box changes to .xls.
