How to Read Bengali Mac
Bengali, also know as Bangla, is an Indo-Aryan language that originated in Bengal, which is now Bangladesh, as well as part of India. You can read Bengali on your Mac computer by first installing a Unicode Bengali font on your Mac, and using the Mozilla Firefox browser for Web browsing, as it supports the Bengali font, while most other major browsers do not.

Go to the Unicode Bengali Font download page at Ekushey.org/?page/mac_download and download a Bengali font file.

Double-click the downloaded file to unzip it, then double-click again to open an install wizard window. Follow the steps provided by the install wizard to properly install the font, then click the "Finish" button at the end of the wizard to close it.

Go to the Mozilla Firefox download page at Mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/ and download the Firefox browser file.

Double-click the downloaded file to unzip it, then double-click it again to open it. In the window that opens, drag the Firefox icon into the "Applications" folder to install it.

Double-click on the Firefox icon in the Applications folder to launch the Firefox browser, or drag the icon to your dock to create a shortcut to it. Use the browser whenever you want to read sites written in Bengali.
