How to Skip the Motorola Backflip Registration
When you first power on your Motorola BackFlip, you receive a prompt to register your product in the Motorola database. Registration is not required. However, by registering your phone, you receive all of the latest updates and news about your BackFlip. If you are eager to start using your phone right away, skip the registration by pressing the “Skip Registration” button from your phone screen. Visit the Motorola Website from an Internet enabled computer.

Click the “Get Help” tab.

Click the “Register My Product” link, located on the left navigation menu.

Complete the pre-registration for to create a Motorola account. The pre-registration form requires your name, a valid email address and your desired password. Click “Create Account.” The product registration form appears.

Select “Cell Phones” from the “Product” drop-down menu.

Type your BackFlip's IMEI number in the “IMEI/ESN/MEID#” field. To locate your IMEI number, dial “*#06#” from your phone. The IMEI will appear on your phone screen.

Click “Submit” to complete the registration process.
