iMacros use automation to simplify tasks for anyone.

Save yourself some time by letting your computer type keystrokes and click buttons. iMacros, a free Firefox add-on, installs in minutes and eliminates repetitive tasks by recording your actions once, saving them as a macro and playing them back automatically. If you have an account at the Lockerz website you can automate any task you can think of by visiting the site and letting iMacros create time-saving macros.

Instructions

  1. Record Macro

    • 1

Launch Firefox and navigate to the Mozilla iMacros Add-ons page. Click the "Add to Firefox" button and follow the instructions that appear. Firefox installs the add-on and restarts.

    • 2

Navigate to the Lockerz website and press F8. The iMacros sidebar opens and displays the iMacros control panel. A list of folders appears at the top of the sidebar and tabs appear below those folders.

    • 3

Click the "Rec" tab, and then click "Record." Click the "Sign In" button found in the upper-right corner of the Lockerz page to display the Sign In window. Enter your login information and click "Sign In."

    • 4

Return to the side panel and click "Stop" to stop recording. Click "Save" to open a Save File dialog and type "Log on to Lockerz" in the "Name" text box. Click "OK" to save the macro. "Log on to Lockerz" appears at the top of the sidebar inside the "Favorites" folder.

    • 5

Click the arrow next to your Username in the upper-right corner of the Lockerz page and select "Sign Out." This logs you out of your account.

    Test Macro

    • 6

Move to the top of the iMacros sidebar and double-click the "Log on to Lockerz" macro. iMacros launches the macro, repeats all the steps you used to log on and logs you in to your account automatically.

    • 7

Right-click the "Log on to Lockerz" macro and click "Add to Bookmark."

    • 8

Type a name you'd like to call the bookmark in the "Name" text box and click "OK." iMacros creates a new Firefox bookmark that contains the macro. You can now click that macro or double-click the macro located in the sidebar to log in to Lockerz automatically.

Tips & Warnings

  • Toggle the iMacros sidebar on and off quickly using F8.

  • Use iMacros to automate any task you perform manually at Lockerz. Create one that takes you directly to the Consoles, Games & Accessories section of the Lockerz store by clicking "Record," and then clicking the links and tabs you normally click to get to that section in the Lockerz store. Click "Stop" when finished, save your macro and double-click it to visit that part of the store instantly.
