How to Transplant According to the Moon
Transplanting seedlings and planting seeds according to the phases of the moon dates back to ancient times. The Hendry County Cooperative Extension Service in Florida states that the practice has roots in the belief that the moon's gravitational pull affects the fluids flowing inside plants as the satellite passes through its monthly quarters. Gardening by the moon also involves observing the astrological sign associated with each day of the month to determine the best one for planting. Does this Spark an idea?
