You can attach a variety of knobs or handles to your cabinet doors. Bow handles have a bowed-out shape that allows you to grasp the handle to open the cabinet. Certain handles have an aluminum stiff-back plate that helps to secure the handle to the cabinet door. If you are removing the bowed handle, the aluminum plate will come off as well. Instructions

      Open the cabinet door to provide access to the front and back of the door.

      Locate the screws on the back of the door that are connected to the handle. There will be two screws, one on the top and one on the bottom.

      Hold the handle on the front of the door and unscrew the two screws on the back of the door.

    • 4

      Pull the screws out from the aluminum plate, and then remove the plate from the back of the door and the bowed handle on the front.
