      Blot the boots dry with paper towels or a clean, dry cloth. Continue blotting until no more excess water comes off the boots, and they are damp but not soaking wet.

      Place the boots in a warm, dry area away from direct heat and sunlight. Lay them with the toes pointing up.

      Stuff paper towels into the toes of the boots to reshape them. If the calves of the boots are also misshapen from washing, stuff the entire boot. Leave the paper towels in the boots for 4 hours, or until the boots retain their shape when the paper towels are removed.
