How to Convert Screensaver to GIF
Your computer’s screensaver is an animated image that appears on your monitor after the computer remains idle for a certain period of time. If you want to use the pictures from your screensaver on a website, document or social network, you must turn the screensaver into a digital image. Use the Windows screenshot function and Microsoft Paint to convert a screensaver into a GIF.

Right-click on the computer desktop and select “Personalize.”

Click “Screensaver” in the bottom right corner of the window.

Click the “Preview” button to launch the screensaver.

Press the “Prt Scr” key on your keyboard to take a screenshot of the screensaver image.

Move your mouse to turn your screensaver off.

Click the “Start” button, type “Paint” in the text box and press the “Enter” key to launch Microsoft Paint.

Hold the “Ctrl” key and press the “V” key to paste the screensaver image in the Paint program.

Click the blue “File” menu and click “Save As.”

Type a name for your image and select “GIF” as the image type from the drop-down menu.

Click “Save” to convert the screensaver image into a GIF.
