How to Install a Mini-Cart in Custom Yahoo! Store Templates
When building a Yahoo store, you have the option of using the default templates that come with the store editor or use your own custom templates. Regardless of the kind of template you are using, you can use the Yahoo Mini-Cart feature to install a shopping cart onto your store. Make the shopping cart static or float it. By floating your Mini-Cart, it remains visible while your store visitor scrolls through your page.

Log into your Yahoo Store Manager account. Click the “Floating Cart Manager” link, located underneath the “Edit” section.

Click “Manual Setup” and “Option 2” to expand the sub-menu.

Write down or copy the “Mini-Cart ID” code. As an example, the code appears as follows:

Write down or copy the “Floating Cart Script.” The Floating Cart Script is only necessary if you want your mini-cart to float as your Web visitor scrolls through your page.

Go back to your Store Manager home page. Click “Store Editor” to reveal a list of store pages.

Locate the page you want to add a cart to and double-click the page to open the HTML editor.

Locate the “<body>” and “</body>” tags inside the HTML editor box. Enter the Mini-Cart ID code anywhere between the “<body>” and “</body>” tags.

Enter your Floating Cart Script, if applicable, anywhere between the “<body>” and “</body>” tags. Click “Save” and “Publish.”

Go back the the “Floating Cart Manager” page.

Click the “Show” radio button that is located beside “Show Mini-Cart.” If you want your mini-cart to float, you must also click the “Show” radio button that is located beside “Show Floating Cart.”

Click “Save” and “Publish” to save and publish your mini-cart to your custom Yahoo store template.
